History of LWS
I started doing web sites in 1996 as something fun to do and people actually paid me so I kept doing it plus I liked it.
I was working as Mechanical designer and engineer for the Chemical industry and had just come from Digital Equipment as an Ultra Pure Water specialist and Facilities Manager/Engineer for Storage systems which made hard drives in computers.
I quit the chem business completely in 1999 and went to work as head of web development for a start-up, they went belly-up so I incorporated in 2003 as LWS and worked for 4 years for the University of Akron Polymer Science Dept to design an online Masters Program in Polymer Science as well as other small business.
That contract ended I decided to focus on just small business and start-ups looking to reach a larger audience.
150 Clients later and 8 people working for us – Our focus now is on Service, Tech Support and Hosting.
