Go Daddy hosting is very cheap – they are able to provide $4.99 web hosting for the same reason your health club can sign-up 2000 members with only room for 200.

They over sell their resources based on customer usage metrics, they  know that you will never use unlimited disk space or email accounts or other hosting features. When doing a comparison to other hosting companies  they appear to be the best bang for the buck.

In reality all those options and extra features add up to nothing extra, but for non-technical consumer who wants to make an informed decision based on what they can read and compare it does look better and at the very least cheaper.

Do you know what MySQL is? … It's a type of database that many popular content management systems use, like Word Press.

Did you know that when you use GoDaddy you share that instance of MySQL with many other web sites?

Did you also know that by sharing databases, your web site will run much slower and also be less secure?

This is just an example of the kind of bottom feeding marketing and details that the average person just doesn't understand or want to understand but can have a huge impact on there business. From OUR perspective GoDaddy hosting is so restricted and slow that we can't support clients hosted through them, due to system restrictions and poor technical support. 

Sure they answer the phones but what do they know and how much do they care about keeping your business?
